Unlike the plants, the Critters of the Greenway don't alway stand still on the side of the road to be inspected. Most are secretive by nature and might require patient observation to be detected. Some only come and go with the season, some hide in the trees or even underwater. Some try to stay out somewhere in their familiar marsh or swamp. It's the realm of the birds, who strut, perch, stalk, stand, flit and soar out in the open who always seem to be the stars of the show.
